When I Grow up 2018
On Sunday, January 14, 2018 Partners in Parenting hosted the When I Grow Up Festival from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It was a chance for children to learn all about various different professions. The festival was held in the ballroom of the Asian American Resource Center at 8401 Cameron Road, Austin, TX 78754.
Tables lined the ballroom and professionals interacted with the children to share the tools of their trade. On the Mainstage, kids were able to learn about artistic and entertainment fields through children’s musicians, storytimes, dance, yoga, and other exciting performances throughout the day.
A huge thanks to all of those who filled our mainstage schedule, Griffin Student Musical Performance, Slavin Nadal School of Ballet Performance, Children's Author Yolanda King presents MLK Storytime, Children's Musician Staci Gray, Austin Public Library Native American Storytime and Bliss Kids Yoga.
